Food was great, tastes homemade. Generous portions and great service. Can't really ask for more than that, except I wish I lived closer.
Tired of the business chain breakfast spots? Tired of the exceedingly high prices and poor service? I have found a hidden gem with Hatura. Excellent food, excellent service. More cost effective than Briggs or First Watch. Easier parking than On the Border and First Watch. Top notch establishment. The biscuits are better than Biscuitville and Bojangles combined!!! Still awesome...just had again on 6/25/23...service is still excellent, food is outstanding and you definitely get a plate full of food..
The lechon plate was good but next time no onions. The pork had great flavor and didn't need the excessive amounts of onions it had.
A gentle and quiet vibe for breakfast with perfectly prepared food. Got the chicken & waffles, and honestly the best available in wake county. This is my go to spot in Wake Forest now. It's a crime they aren't packed out to the patio at all times. Wake up y'all! Don't sleep on the excellence here!!
So fantastic, I can't wait to go back. A must try brunch spot!! And they serve all day breakfast!!. The flavors were in point. Our server was kind and attentive. Clean restaurant and bathrooms.
Nice little home cooking spot with a hint of spice and everything nice. I tried the chicken and waffles. I added pecans to the waffle. The combo comes with two eggs. The chicken was seasoned well. It was really good, I didn't know what to expect because they used breadcrumbs instead of flour for batter. It's a chicken breast that is tenderized and covered in breadcrumbs, then fried. I like that they added two eggs in the combo because it adds more protein to help with the waffle. Its alot of food and it's seasoned very well. My friend ordered the Cuban sandwich, and it looked soooo good. Someone suggested this place for the shrimp and grits, but we were not ready for that today. We went around 10 am or 10:30 am. They had specials like : meatloaf with sides, stir-fry with side, hamburger steak, and more. They have a big variety of food dishes. I gave two stars for service because our waitress was missing in action. We had to ask the waiters to tell our waitress to come help us. Our service was bad, but considering how the other waiters were helping and checking on their areas showed that this was the work culture of the restaurant staff. It was just her. I like the location and people of all colors were eating there. They do have a bar, and they do service drinks. One to add to the list of brunch spots.
Great place that's a little tucked away. They made a return customer out of me with their tasty food, reasonable prices and large portions! Figured I'd update this... This place is still fantastic. If you're in the Wake Forest area and haven't given them a try, you should!
